In The current world almost anything and everything can be improved with the help of technology . One such problem which exists in many engineering institutions right now is the lack of seamlessness in placement-related activities. many of students don’t get opportunity of job internship what they actually deserve or wanted because some times the placement's information circulated by college are unreachable for students due to it's messages/pdf/word-file format .
Here we present to you, our solution for this problem, Placementor: A platform that bridges the gap between Training & Placement Cell and Students of that college .making the process of placements seamless and effective.
Throughout the project the focus has been on presenting information in an easy and intelligible manner. The project is very useful for those who want to do internship and job opportunities.
This application is developed in windows platform using Flutter framework on VS Code as IDE. The programming language used is Dart. Firebase is used as backend database for the details to be stored.
This project "Placementor"provides us a simple interface for maintenance of jobs/internship /placements and placement cell stuff. It can be used by educational institutes or colleges to provide information about placements and internship to students. Achieving this objective is difficult using a manual system as the information is scattered, can be redundant and collecting relevant information may be very time consuming for students also. All these problems are solved using this project.
students can search and open the job of their field of interest and also can mark favorite them so that they can go through them according themselves
students can compare their skill's with companies requirement. They can also contact previously placed student's of their college.
All the users have some common services like raise their concern about application, can suggest off-campus job offers to administration , changing password, updating details, searching for details, checking the details, mailing to administrator, and reading the material uploaded by admin if the user is a student. Administrator has the services to add events and achievements and he can reply to the mails sent by users. He can upload materials, search for Student details, and he has the right to approve the students suggestions for off campus.
